Surgeons and Legislators Meet to Discuss the Surgical Response to the Marathon Bombings

Learning Objectives:

  • To present the surgical experience and impressions of the April 15, 2013 bombing during the Boston Marathon

  • To address the issues that affect surgeons in Massachusetts and enable an understanding of a surgeons’ scope of practice

  • To continue the dialogue established with legislators and their staff in 2012 and maintain an ongoing relationship with them
